Excommunication

If the United States were a subdivision, California would be the annoying neighbor who doesn't take care of his lawn. You know, everything is always dead, brown, and dirty. I vote we have an association meeting and excommunicate Cali from the neighborhood.

Ms. Hepler,
I hope procedure are going fare enough for you as uncomfortable and as imberable as they may be. I was thinking of you the other day as I made a bowl of Potato Soup to give to someone. I thought if Ms. Hepler were still in Elkhart she might infact be indulging in this lovely potato soup. I hope you are enjoying California even if it may be "the annoying neighbor". Sometimes words are hard to find. I'm at a great loss right now. But I want you to know that you are in my thoughts.

Crap! Being as you were once my english teacher I feel that I must fix my mistake. I typed the previous comment and forgot to re-read it. Well that proved to be dumb of me. Becaus as soon as I published the comment I discovered that I was unsure that imberable was a word. So I then I decided to look it up. It's not a word and most likely will neverbe. Therefore, I realise that what I meant to say was unberable. Darn

Ashli,

I finally got all caught up on your blog. I am sorry to hear that the nausea is so extreme. I'm having flaskbacks to the first trimester of pregnancy--not that that by any means compares, that's just my way of "connecting to the text". We miss you and love you tremendously albeit from far away. "Hang in there" seems like such a trite phrase at this point. So, I'll just say Thank you for this blog, your strength, and your honesty. It's a gift to us all.

Ashli,
Hello! My philosophy is that California can't have everything. They get the beautiful ocean, palm tress, beaches, great shopping, movie stars, good food, great shopping (oops, did I already mention that?) Anyway, if they also had lush green grass, no one would want to live anywhere else in the U.S. So, they've gotta have something ugly. Aren't you glad that God saved the great shopping and took the grass instead? :) Well, I hope I made you smile a little. As always, you're in our thoughts and prayers. Love ya!
Love,
Danna

Hi Ash!
I know how you feel about California and I agree with you that it's overrated! However, it was wonderful to see you this weekend! Please take my extended family's offers for companionship/assistance seriously! Now I have some time to catch up on your blog. The writing is awesome... thanks for sharing your journey! We're praying...
Love you, Beth
